It is meant to be easily integrable in any web application to provide it with file editing features. eDItor is an ASCII file editor. You can open, modify and save any text based files, including source files in any programming language. eDItor was first designed to allow the online editing of the content and configuration files of eDContainer. It does however not provide advanced editing function for HTML.
eDItor can be integrated in your website. eDItor is built so that it does not have external dependencies and does not assume any path or url. You can install and integrate it in your web application easily.
eDItor is running on a Windows, Mac or Linux OS with a web server (Apache recommended) and PHP 4.1 or higher.
